     The Great Pumpkin Fest runs Saturdays and Sundays, from September 30-October 29 and includes Halloween activities for kids and the entire family. Kids 12 and under can wear their costumes and Trick-or-Treat with the PEANUTS Gang, race through a hay maze, decorate mini pumpkins, color PEANUTS pictures, dance in a foam pit and more.

  Fall Learn to Sail Classes at Coyote Point Yacht Club!

     Learn to Sail Qube, kids will learn the fundamentals of sailing in an easy-to-handle single person boat called Qube. During the class kids will first learn to sail in the Coyote Point Marina and eventually out into the Bay! Our staff of experienced sailing instructors will put the young mariners through their paces in a safe, positive, and fun environment. Here at Coyote point we have a variety of conditions ranging from extreme to calm that we make full use of in our sessions. We look forward to seeing you on the water soon!   Hooray Fall at the SF Zoo!

     Some say that the Fall is the best time of year to visit SF Zoo with the warm late summer weather and the return of everyone’s favorite Fall activity – our giant hay maze! Happy Hollow Hay Maze As the largest hay structure in San Francisco, come navigate the Happy Hollow Hay Maze made up of over 600 strategically placed and stacked straw covering an expanse of 5,000 square feet. With short stacks and high stacks, kids of all ages can work to find their way through a labyrinth of bundled straw, from start to finish, and see what surprises they’ll discover along the way (hint: perhaps a hay pit?)! Hay Maze is open now until November 4. PURCHASE TICKETS Boo at the Zoo Everyone’s favorite Halloween event is back! Boo at the Zoo will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 26 & 27 with the highlight as always, a chance to dress up in costume for the 12 noon Costume Parade and Contest as families, groups, and individuals come as their favorite super hero, animal species or the latest kids’ craze. New this year is the Franken-stomp Dance Party which will take place after the costume party at the playground area. We hope you will all join the music and fun! Not to miss is the return of the Haunted Nature Trail, decorated especially for the occasion with ghosts, goblins and more and the Insect Zoo will be decked out with some naturally creepy crawlers like giant cockroaches, flesh-eating beetles and giant tarantulas. Classic bug horror movies will be played on the video monitor inside the exhibit. And the best part of the day will be the chance to see Zoo animals gobble up gourds and enjoy Halloween-themed enrichment treats at various habitats throughout the weekend – don’t forget to snap a photo of the schedule of the day’s events.
